This video is well worth the time to watch to know Carl Jung ideas. The empath is born from injury, Jung tells us. When your soul is ready to forgive, it will forgive, and he talks of the reasons and steps that are best for the soul in forgiving and how this behavior benefits the Narcissist and the Empath both.
Carl Jung says in this video, “you are not here to be understood by the unhealed, to make yourself small so others feel tall. You are not here to forgive what broke your soul into silence”.
It is possible to lose your own soul if continuing on the path of endless forgiveness for people who do not change, but we have everything to gain through breaking the cycle. Masks will fall for the Narcissist and the Empath too.
A mandala from Carl Jung’s, “Red Book”.
Jung taught that the center of the mandala itself is the self. He had the inspiration of thought that a person connects with their self on a conscious and unconscious level when meditating or creating a mandala. Jung used the mandala in his therapy practice to work with his clients as the clients created the mandalas in their journey for awakening the knowledge of the self and as therapeutic psychoanalytic understanding.
Jung said:
“It became increasingly plain to me that the mandala is the center. It is the exponent of all paths. It is the path to the center, to individuation.”
Jung’s “Red Book” was his face to face experience with his unconscious, where he analyzed himself and gave himself therapy. There are drawings of dreams and more mandalas inside his book.
We too can analyze ourselves and walk the path of mortality as being just that. Mortal, imperfect, and forgive ourselves, because those before would have it that way.
